Last week, Zilliant customers, partners, and prospective customers from around the world attended our annual MindShare Europe event in Amsterdam. With over 130 participants in the room, it marked a record turnout! While this was my first Mindshare as a new member of the Zilliant team, I was truly inspired by the level of passion and energy for pricing in the room. People were connecting, sharing insights, and asking insightful questions. 

Five Key Takeaways from MindShare Europe 2024

Throughout presentations, panel discussions, and breakout sessions, the spotlight was on users, hands-on practitioners, and champions of pricing technology. But it wasn’t only about technology—participants highlighted real-world impact and success stories from software implementations. 

Here are five key takeaways from MindShare Europe 2024 that speak to the event’s prevailing theme: unlock the power of pricing by putting it at the heart of every business

  1. Accelerate Success Through Pricing Lifecycle Management
    Zilliant is well-positioned to support the entire pricing lifecycle from start to finish. Our innovation efforts aim to strengthen our offerings in 2025, with a focus on connecting each stage of the lifecycle through smooth integration and an optimized user experience.

    During Mindshare Europe, we announced two exciting upcoming launches on our platform: GenAI and our new Agreement Management solution. Our Chief Product Officer Kylie Fuentes also shared plans to accelerate innovation with quarterly releases in 2025.

    A recurring topic across presentations and discussions was the importance of involving the sales team in pricing excellence programs. Many attendees shared the challenges of getting sales onboard, motivating them to embrace pricing guidance, conducting pilots with sales, and aligning with sales leadership. This again highlights the important of managing your entire pricing lifecycle, which ensures sales leaders can deliver the right price and intelligence to sellers where and when they need it the most.
  4. Building C-Suite Buy-In for Pricing Investments
    A common topic during Q&A sessions and lunch discussions was the need to gain C-suite support for pricing software investments. As Chief Value Officer, I am committed to helping clients build their business cases and ROI narratives, ensuring pricing is understood as a strategic priority. It’s not just about calculating ROI—we need to speak the language of the C-suite and frame pricing as a critical organizational focus.
  5. Expanding Pricing Expertise
    Zilliant has a strong legacy in pricing science and technology. Now, we're expanding our focus on expert services and deep pricing knowledge to support clients' pricing and revenue transformations. In recent weeks, Zilliant has invested in top industry expertise to bolster this area.
